This policy explains what data HandoffLog ("the app") uses, why, where it is stored, who receives it, and how you can delete it. The app has no user accounts, does not ask for your name, email address or phone number, and never asks the other parent to sign up.
Your records stay on your device. We (the developer) do not run a server for your records and never receive them.

The app does not use your contacts, microphone or health data, and does not record calls.
The app never shares your records by itself. PDF, CSV, calendar (ICS) and backup files are created only when you ask, and you choose where to send them with your device's share sheet (for example your own cloud drive, email, or your attorney). Backup files are not encrypted; keep them somewhere only you can open.
If you turn on the app lock, your device's biometric or passcode check is used. The app never receives your biometric data.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, Digital Turbine/DT Exchange, InMobi, ironSource/Unity LevelPlay, Liftoff/Vungle, LINE, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, Pangle, PubMatic, Unity Ads). These ad providers may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. They do not receive your records, attachments, children's information or location. On iOS, personalized ads are used only if you allow tracking. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first and can change it under Settings > Ad privacy options. Premium removes ads. Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple or Google. To confirm a purchase, the purchase receipt (not your records) is sent to our verification service.
The app is intended for adult parents and is not directed to children. Information about your children is entered by you and stays on your device; it is never sent to advertisers or to us.
HandoffLog is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not legal advice. Whether these records are accepted as evidence is decided by the court.
