This policy explains what data GentleDriveScore ("the app") uses, why, where it is stored, who it is shared with, and how you can delete it. The app has no user accounts and we do not run our own servers for your drives.

1. Data the app uses and why

Motion and physical activity (accelerometer, gyroscope, activity recognition such as "in vehicle")	To notice when a drive starts and ends, and to score how smoothly you accelerate, brake and turn.	Only on your device.
Drive history and scores, car names and settings	To show your drives, trends and garage.	Only on your device.
Car photo you choose from your photo library (optional)	To show your car in the garage.	Only on your device.

Background location is used only for automatic drive recording. You can use the app with manual recording only, or turn off background access at any time in your device settings.

2. Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not upload your location, motion data or drive history to our servers.
Maps: the app shows routes on Google Maps. To draw the map, your device requests map tiles from Google; Google's Privacy Policy applies to that request.
Advertising: the free version shows ads from Google AdMob and its mediation partners (AppLovin, Digital Turbine/DT Exchange, InMobi, ironSource/Unity LevelPlay, Liftoff/Vungle, LINE, Meta Audience Network, Mintegral, Pangle, PubMatic, Unity Ads). These ad providers may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. They do not receive your GPS location or drive history from the app. On iOS, personalized ads are used only if you allow tracking. See How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases: subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. To confirm a purchase, the purchase receipt (not your location or drives) is sent to our verification service.
Exports you choose: when you export or share a drive or a share card, the file goes only where you send it.

3. Security and retention

Your drives stay in the app's private storage on your device until you delete them. We do not keep copies.

4. Your choices and deletion

Delete individual drives in the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the app.
Turn off location, background location, motion/activity access or notifications at any time in your device settings.
Reset or limit the advertising ID in your device settings; change your ad consent from the app's settings where offered.

5. Children

The app is intended for drivers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
